Eat some ice cream. Balance. And the people who fast for religious or spiritual reasons are not not doing it to be skinny, and they're not imbibing or ingesting anything (like broth). They're doing it for a limited time (like Ramadan) to cultivate their prayer, meditation, gratitude, charity and service to others. They're not doing it to torture themselves or to lose weight.
