I don't think most mom blogs are about bragging about your great parenting skills (though some are). Rather mom blogs can be a great resource to find things to do and projects for your kids. Plus they let you know different people's perspectives. I've never read anything that depresses people more than the comments on DC Urban Moms, so if you're avoiding Mom Blogs out of happiness concerns then I highly suggest you get off this list serve.
