You can't make an entire country "walkable" or "bikeable" to accommodate people's choices. OP chose to move to a semi-rural area. Chose to have a kid. Chose to put that kid in dance. So now OP can choose to have a stay at home parent, have her daughter quit dance, or pay through the nose for reliable care/transportation. [/quote]
