Seriously, the SFCE 08 squad is playing in the VYSA Presidents Cup and they pre-emptively rescheduled their NCSL games for Oct. 27 and November 2, as the matches coincided with the semifinal and potential final.  I am surprised that McLean Green went along with the reschedule, as SFCE should be the ones to forfeit in this instance.  Furthermore, McLean is giving up a home game (on turf, I presume) to go to Winchester … to play on grass … in November.  (DD's team is slated to play SFCE in Winchester on Nov. 3.  Game-time temp is currently predicted to be 36F.  Yippie!)

Given that McLean likely controls the schedule for NCC, I wonder if they'll work it so that Green can go to Winchester in the morning on the 10th and still be back in McLean for an NCC afternoon game.

Having seen SFCE's style against DD's team seven or eight times (and an entire half against another squad at this year's WAGS), I think it would an interesting match to watch to see whether SFCE's more direct style or McLean Green's more possession-based-but-running-the-same-play style would prevail.  SFCE hasn't been scored on all season (in league games), but the "organization" of McLean's attack should yield something.

Or maybe, I just wanted McLean to wear out SFCE a day before FPYC makes that trip out to Winchester.  {snicker}[/quote]

Presidents cup final is November 3rd. Will they have to forfeit to FPYC is they make the final? Or will FPYC be forfeiting the following weekend when they reschedule during the NCC tournament?[/quote]
