Just to round this out for context: Fairfax has more people, a younger population, higher property values, higher percentages of adults with high school and college degrees, lower social services assistance payments, higher retail sales, more jobs, shorter commutes, higher median household incomes, more National Merit Semifinalists, higher average SAT scores, a larger and stronger STEM magnet, and a lower poverty rate than Montgomery. Montgomery has more wins in a 25-minute quiz show that, like so many things in that county, almost went out of business recently.
LOL Yes you do have a larger STEM magnet but not stronger. MCPS crushes not just FCPS but the whole NoVa when it comes to STEM awards and scholars. They do lot more with less -Neutral and DP
Cite evidence. FCPS sends more kids to HYPS. They have more schools in the top 200 nationally. They have more schools in the top 10 statewide. But since Terp Boy is so butt hurt, let's cite better evidence: VA gave nothing compared to the MD incentives to get HQ2. With HQ2, we're also getting Apple, Microsoft, and other tech companies now. Why? Because our schools are better. Like literally waaaay better. And no one in their right mind will live in MCPS and commute to Crystal City when they can have FCPS schools instead. Give it up. HoCo looks a million times better than MCPS at this point. At least they know how to differentiate bias from fact.
Most things I saw related to having an airport and the Pentagon which has huge contracts with them.
