I don't get the complaints.  They make sense based on club performance, and iter 2 still plays tier 1 if it's within their conference.  But it makes for more evenly matched games for everyone.  When VDA starts blowing out all the competition it faces (or Arlington, whichever), then that's worth talking about. [/quote]

One age group was performing well, but not as a club across the board.  And yet they aren't across the board blowing anyone out either.  Either tier though can make the play offs, and they will still have conference games against tier 1.  Besides, you're talking a single club.  [/quote]

The age group that dominated against MLS clubs was moved, other age groups are still in the same tier.  On that note none of the MLS academies that performed poorly were moved to tier 2. [/quote]
