Her job is to take care of your kids. Household tasks should be her second priority. If she has all the time to be doing household tasks, she’s probably ignoring your kids. Plenty of the PPs on here are prioritizing a clean house over spending tome with their kids. I lowered my standards. Two working parents, no family, no money for extra household help or a twice a week cleaning lady or any of that other stuff. So some part of our house is always cluttered or needs attention. Dishes and laundry might be done but living room is a mess. Meals and prepped and bathroom is clean but laundry needs doing. I prioritize my family, sleep, work, my sanity, and then how clean my house is. Change your expectations. [/quote]

Lower standards for sanity! We all have too much to do. A century ago, economists were predicting we'd all be down to a 20 hour work week by now. Well, we're not. Because we all gotta haul ass so the 1% can afford another yacht. I choose low standards and time to watch Hulu. [/quote]
