It's more than that.  They're actually asking foreign governments to say that Russia didn't hack us n 2016 but rather that Obama did![/quote]

Today, our government issued  additional sanctions on Russia for interference in the 2016 election. 
This investigation is about finding out who participated in the hoax -  the dossier, the framing of those around Trump - the whole kit and kaboodle.
