Does this mean he is going to hold a rally in VA? Wish I could go to one.
+1
Tax break didn't provide enough money to go to one?
Original PP here. I didn't actually get much of a tax break. I have high SALT amounts, which off-set the reduction in marginal rate. Part of me really wants to experience the ability to cheer loudly for Trump without fear of physical harm.
+100
I'd like my kids to be able to go to school without fear of being shot and having to practice lockdowns, but we can't all get what we want. I'm sorry you didn't get your tax break like the very wealthy did. Perhaps you should go to a Trump rally and ask Trump why the very rich, himself included, got a huge tax break and you didn't.
Are you justifying that it's okay to make Trump supporters like me be fearful for our physical safety? I want the best for my kids as well, but I don't find it necessary to physically threaten/attack someone who hold different political ideas than me. I hope you don't pass on your violent nature to your kids. With regards to taxes - it's okay, I know that people who make more than me with a similar balance of income source is paying a higher rate. I am grateful for the opportunities that this country has provided me, and am proud to be among the taxpayers that pay more into the system than what we consume out of it. This is what I teach my kids, that civilization only moves forward when we contribute more to society than what we get in return. The excess value is what improves other people's lives beyond their current circumstances.
