I haven’t been in a 7-11 since I quit smoking 8 years ago. What would I buy at 7-11 that I can’t get at the grocery store? What would I need there that would justify parking and another errand? I can’t remember the last time I went into a gas station convenient store either.
Slurpies. You can't get slurpies at your local Giant, Safeway, Harris Teeter, etc. My Dh grew up with a mom that NEVER let him have sugar and as a result he's a sugar fiend now. Once a week, he takes our son to an activity and has to pass by a 7-11 on the way home, so they usually stop and get a slurpie. Other than that, no one in our family really goes to 7-11. About a month ago I was in Philadelphia (as a tourist) and was really thirsty and wanted a bottle of water. I happened to be close to a 7-11 so I stopped in there to buy water. Situations like that come up about 2-3 times a year for me. That's about it.
