Not the poster to whom you are responding, but you brought this on yourself.  In your first post, you wrote:  "Our church (LDS) mandates 10% gross income in order to be considered temple-worthy. We cannot enter the celestial kingdom (highest level of heaven) without doing so."  Please harmonize these two statements.

I have great respect for Christians - I am one myself.  In particular, I respect Martin Luther, who waged a campaign against selling indulgences.  And your first post seems a lot like that.  [/quote]
