People in Alabama would think like everyone else does, if the person in question is light, they would be taken as white, if the person is darker, they would be thought of as a person of color. I should mention that my 94 year old Venezuelan born grandmother lived in Mississippi from 1946-1970, and literally received NO prejudice at all, and yes everyone knew she was Venezuelan. [/quote]
