It’s not funny at all. Who cares if he likes ballet? “We’ll see how long that lasts?” WTF.
He's 5 (or actually, I don't remember how old he is, but he's just a child). If he enjoys something, that's nice. I suppose if he enjoyed bear baiting or dog fighting, that wouldn't be so nice. But ballet class? Why is that funny?
She was playing into gender stereotypes that “real boys” don’t dance ballet. She’s a fool. How can she legitimately interview anyone in the entertainment industry in the future?
“Duh. Boys who like ballet are probably homosexual. And that’s worthy of titters and sneering. Because The Gays are funny. And anal sex and blow jobs are gross.” She’s a loser and an idiot.
I did ballet for 15 years about 30 years ago. Every boy I encountered in ballet is currently gay.
+100 People can rail against the “stereotype” of boys in ballet, but the truth is that the majority of them are gay.
So that makes it ok to laugh? You are DISGUSTING.
So WHO CARES if they are gay? What's that to you? How does it impact your life? It sure as hell is going to impact the lives of little boys who stop doing what they love because they are being bullied or teased. I watched the clip and it's disgusting. Monday morning better bring a 5 minute apology and a retrospective on Baryshnikov. She also mocked the fact that he was doing computer programming; which is also insane but has much less potential for damaging consequences. STEM and kids coding classes are all the rage for both boys and girls.
