[/quote] I had no desire to take it home or do anything with it, but I did ask to see it. My hospital-based midwife explained what the different parts were/had done during pregnancy and I got the reassurance that even though DC was post-date my placenta had been in good shape. We did have a very funny conversation with the midwife about a family she knew who brought a blender to the hospital to make placenta smoothness.[/quote]
