NP here I have!! It’s usually kids and the parents pretend they don’t notice. I tell a flight attendant who addresses the issue. I also routinely have to tell teens at our pool that they cannot play music on the portable speaker they brought. They are usually rude and try to argue until I tell them I’m happy to alert the lifeguard. Then they usually comply and I’m sure say horrible things about me as I walk away.[/quote]

I have seen this a lot.  It is the most breathtakingly selfish thing I see on planes.  The parents do not care that their kid's loud, full volume cartoon and stupid singalong sounds are irritating everyone around them.   I live in Europe and fly a lot, and it seems to be normal and acceptable behavior for parents of certain countries.  They think it is perfectly fine.
