The best episode was when the mom babysat, that was a riot. But it reached an all time low with that abortion episode.
Why was that an all-time low? It was actually very realistic. You know that a very high percentage of abortions, at least in the US, are done by women who are already moms.
I'm pro-choice and I'm sure this will open a whole can of worms, but I was seriously let down by the couple's decision to abort. It wasn't as if they were destitute. They lived a very comfortable life, the third baby was simply... inconvenient. I was actually quite disgusted by their choice.
You're not as pro-choice as you think then, if you believe it's okay to judge women for their choice.
Whatever. I also believe women are all entitled to their own opinions, and I shared mine.
that is perfectly fine for you to have your own opinion, just as this fictional family has their own opinion .... but, your first statement "i was actually quite disgusted by their choice" is 100% judgement. So just acknowledge that you ARE judging another women for having a different opinion than you. that's fine, freedom of speech, but you are judging this women for her choice while also spouting that you are pro-choice hypocrisy: the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.
Yes, of course I am judging this FICTIONAL couple - that's part of having an opinion, the ability to judge. You judge people too. Being pro-choice simply means you believe abortion should be safe, legal, and available to women who choose that option. It doesn't mean you have to agree with the reasons behind the choice. That's a fairly simple concept; I'm sorry you don't seem to understand it.
