I think VLC is also a draw for Loudoun kids.  I think the point is that there are enough kids in Loudoun to make a team but maybe three teams is pushing it.  These teams will not NEED kids from MD, TX, SC, GA, Richmond to field a team.  Also, we are talking about two different things.  The out of state kids who play in LI or wherever are more an more playing as guest players or playing on National Teams such as Duke's and Legends.  The Loudoun clubs are not hoping for out of area players they are pulling enough kids from Loudoun and PW counties to field teams.  The answer is yes there is enough for some but a few will be left out.  A small number of kids from NOVA drive to MD to play and a smaller number drive from MD to NOVA.  There will always be parents willing to commute to crazy town for club lacrosse.  The majority play for the best local club they can find.  I still think there are a few too many clubs competing for too few players.   3D is also planning to make another run at it and what about Black Wolf, Top Caliber, Battlelax, and VEL?  If Madlax found enough kids for 3 teams they would have a MD, VA and Capital team.  As it stands they have only enough for one team in some age groups.  [/quote]
