Yes, if you pluck the very best public school players from all the schools then they will compete, and that's the point. There are far fewer private schools than there are public schools and those privates have way more talented players. Private schools have the resources to make a greater percentage of players and students better because the sports programs and education are better funded and staffed. [/quote]
