Evergreen lacrosse may want to consider HOCO league in the future. It is a good way to find out the best skill level when scheduling summer tournaments
And help get kids ready for competition - w some better focus, maybe good things will come from rebranding themselves as Hammers LC
They do have the basis of a good program. Solid coaching with out dads, outstanding facilities, and Loudoun is a growing base of players. For some reason they better players are still heading to other teams.
Loudoun is just too far out for it to be a viable option for most people.
Wow, what rock are you living under? Loudoun has the largest pool of young families and where most of the NOVA talent is being developed. Loudoun is not far for Loudoun people. I agree that a Mont. Co family would never go there but a Loudoun family is not heading to practice at GP or Landon.
Your both wrong. There are family's from MD traveling to VA, family's from VA traveling to MD, family's from Richmond and Charlottesville traveling to NoVA etc. Then you have the kids from SC, TX, CA and elsewhere who fly in to play for their Club teams in the Mid Atlantic. Even Baltimore kids from BL, LB, Gilman etc are starting to play for some of the stronger Long Island Teams. If there's a will, there's a way and it's being proven again and again that athletes will pretty much do whatever it takes to seek out what they perceive to be a better opportunity, more competitive play etc.
