Glioblastomas shatter the people who make up the support system. It’s the most hopeless brain cancer, and destroys the person mentally and physically almost immediately upon diagnosis. You’re the one who needs to compare.  But since I lost my father’s mother to a slow and long painful death from Alzheimer’s, but not before I lost my father to a glioblastoma. The person with the brain cancer and short diagnoses caused substantially more mental damage to those in my family in comparison to the Alzheimer’s. Not that both didn’t cause devastation, but one moved slow enough to cope with what was happening.
