Yes, but this is it's niche.  It has a fairly open door policy for admissions (for full pay students).  It's a solid, well-rounded education for those who want to pay $45K and avoid public (for whatever reason) but it's not an elite school with competitive admissions.  
I know many kids who matriculated at Landon after they were not able to get in to the super competitive schools.  That said, (again) I think it's a great, solid education and we'd send our son there.   We know many great kids who attend.  [/quote]
