This is the policy at all the major Smithsonians, so I'm glad to see that they are reasonable.  Of course, no one should be eating while viewing the museum... that is obvious.

Are you slow?  The policy on the African Amer. museum website is wrong.  I am happy to notice conflicting information and not blindly accept misinformation from fools.  That's not "rigidity."  That's assertiveness in alerting them to the conflicting info. [/quote]
