Same team last year did the same thing as U9s. Some of it is the kids; a lot of it is the coaching, or lack thereof. I don't think whining is useful, especially in front of the kids. And it is a physical sport. But the kids are getting smart enough to know and check when the ref is not looking to take cheap shots and some feel compelled to do so, especially when they feel like the other team is better.[/quote]
