DP here. My psychiatrist does, if I go in knowing I want to change to something specific or change my dose of my current meds. I think plenty of them do. Quick, easy office visit for them.

OP, I'm in a bit different of a boat, but also deal with very persistent depression and anxiety. I take Wellbutrin and Klonopin, and also Vyvanse for my ADD issues to help me stay employed. But I can't ever get rid of this underlying constant sadness/disappointment/hopelessness/misery. Dysthymia, really. My doc prescribed me Pristiq to add to the mix but I haven't taken it. It just feels like too much drugs.

OP here. I appreciate 99% of the responses here. Thanks. Like the PP my doctor is thrilled if I come in with a plan. I agree that it is a quick and easy visit. Otherwise the doctor tells me the med options and tells me to look into it and make my decision of what I want to try.Better to come in prepared.
