DS with nearly identical stats as OP's DD was not admitted (but was admitted to other similarly/higher ranked SLACs). Also, though I loved Grinnell, the school didn't fully resonate with him (dumb as it sounds the flatness of the landscape put him off initially and then the school just didn't click as much as others) and that may have shaped their perception of him also. I do think Grinnell stands out in their ability/willingness to financially support strong students.[/quote]
