I don't know of any schools in FL that require their freshman to live on campus. And, yes, some schools do not have room for all of the freshman who want to live on campus. [/quote] I would venture to guess that it's unusual for large state universities to require all freshmen to live on campus. For example, I know that the University of Texas does not have such a requirement. I associate "mandatory freshman dorms" with smaller, private schools. [/quote]
