I classify as from stodgy Wasps and Volvos haven't been common among them for a long time now. The frugal ones now mostly drive Subaru Forresters. In the 1980s-1990s Volvo wagons were insanely popular for this particular cultural group. I do like Volvo SUVs. The XC60 is a good midsize one. Not wild on the latest model, however. I'm also 39. And my age cohort and younger generations don't seem to care about cars so mostly get Hondas and Toyotas or the CX9. Doesn't matter if they're lowly paid non-profits or BIGLAW partners. [/quote]
