We live in Upper NW and would call Chevy Chase Rescue Squad.  DC Fire & EMS might do something wacky like take you to Howard U Hospital.  That happened with a journalist who was mugged and knocked unconscious near his home several years and the DC ambulance driver went to Howard because she wanted to run a personal errand afterward.  The man was left to die on a gurney in a Howard hallway.  Incompetence (squared).[/quote]
