We have schools go into Safe Mode... nobody in or out. That's for a threat outside the school. DH is a teacher. Two rival gangs try to recruit in the school. Admittedly we don't have anywhere near the issues, but it has happened and our kids practice for it. I doubt the gun issues here are broadcast in the U.S. Small potatoes, right? We do have drug issues, and crimes that go with it. But a much smaller population = less problems.[/quote]
