[quote=Anonymous]Wow... what's with picking on vets out of all professions out there? Vets obviously aren't in it for the money... otherwise they would've gone to med school. Vet school is way harder to get into and it costs the same as Med school (they're both 4 year professional colleges). In my opinion, vets know way more about everything too... MD's are stuck only knowing their specialty and have to refer you all the time. If you google how much vets make, it says they start around $40,000 to $60,000. I also remember seeing a chart once that said vets are the lowest paid 4 year professional. I bet more than half of you make more than that and in all of your professions, you make PROFIT when you provide a service, why are you bashing vets when they make a profit? You do realize all human hospitals are in it for profit too, don't you?... you just don't see a lot of the cost because most of us have insurance which you also PAY FOR. As for dentists, I can't defend them... they're average salary is over 6 digits and all they do is take care of teeth.. hell... vets are dentists and physicians rolled into one and they make less!
