Did you leave in handcuffs?  I don't know why police would embarrass you in this way.  They could have had someone come to get you in plainclothes, or the County Resource officer (who is on campus at high schools) could have come talk to you.  If the incident at Churchill is not related to accusations against the teacher, the principal could simply send an email that the teacher is dealing with a personal family matter.[/quote]
