Look, we're allowed to be "nosy and judgmental" when choosing nannies/babysitters for our children.  The teachers who influence our children and teens are just as important.  MCPS has a history of not checking Maryland court records before hiring.  If they had, Colin Black (Einstein) never would have been hired with a former charge of public urination and basically a history that adds up to alcoholism.  If MCPS does not do this due diligence, parents have to.

I think that teachers should be better paid.  I also think that they should be role models for our children.  Yes, that means keep your bikini pics to your own set of adult friends.  Use your privacy settings.  Stop friending my teen on Instagram.[/quote]
