Lots of people who grew up with only opposite gender siblings wish they had a sibling of the same gender. I've also heard many people express concerns about three kids in a family -- it can lead to one sibling being the "outsider" while the other two are closer. There's of course no way to control any of this, but I can understand why people might think it is better to have things be more "even" with regard to gender or number of kids.[/quote]
