Just 10 minutes drive to downtown Bethesda?  Right now, in the middle of the afternoon on a day schools are closed as are many businesses, google maps says it will take 23 minutes.  At 4 am it would probably be 20.  During rush at least 40.  It is not 10 minutes unless you are in a helicopter.

No, she said it was 10 more minutes on 270. Harris Teeter at the crown to Chopt Bethesda (which is right off 270) is 10 minutes.

Downtown Bethesda sucks. The traffic is now horrible because the county got greedy and they’re putting in high rises everywhere. But there are no parks or pools or green space or an ice rink like there used to be. Just traffic, expensive stores and mostly pricey restaurants and a few fast food places. Meh.
I live 1.5 miles from there and I’d rather go to rockville or the mall. [/quote]
