[/quote] Actually the housing growth in Montgomery County has been smaller than in the region overall, and the real era of overdevelopment in the county was in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. 50,000 units built in the 1950s, 65,000 units built in the 1960s, 55,000 in the 1970s, 80,000 in the 1980s, 38,000 in the 1990s, 41,000 in the 2000s, 15,000 in 2010-2016. see p. 46: http://montgomeryplanning.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/MP_TrendsReport_final.pdf[/quote]
