Well, with that logic, I propose that every president be subject to special counsel investigation for the duration of their time in office. Because just because they haven't found any evidence yet that they've done anything illegal, doesn't mean the rest of their behavior is just fine and perfectly legal.

I want to point out the important point that Trump has yet to be found doing *ANYTHING* illegal. Even the potential campaign finance violation is just that - potential. [/quote]

All Rs forget that it was the Rs who fought against campaign finance reform, and a R leaning SCOTUS that struck campaign finance reform.  Even today, Rs fight against campaign finance reform even at the state level.
