Retrievers were bred to be comfortable with birds flapping in their faces.  They are fine with hugs, unlike most dogs.  They're happy to have babies and children in their faces.  There's a reason they're the most popular breed in the country.[/quote]

A retriever took a chunk out of my puppies neck on a walk yesterday.

There are two other retrievers in our neighborhood that have to stay muzzled.[/quote]
