Not everyone is paired up, far from it. But to your point, most of the coupling we have seen has arisen at times of greater settlement and security. Glenn/Maggie got together on the farm. Rick/Jessie, Rick/Michonne, Abraham/Sasha, Carol/Tobin, and Tara/Denise all got together after the group settled in Alexandria. Carol/Ezekiel got together after settling in the Kingdom post-war. Bob/Sasha and Abraham/Rosita are the only relationships I can think of that came together on the road; Bob/Sasha were very short-lived, and I never got the sense that Abraham was all that emotionally attached to Rosita (and then he broke up with her for Sasha once the group was settled in Alexandria).[/quote]
