[/quote] At our school you don't really have a choice on this one. On teacher snack cart collection days the PTA moms collect the snack donations as your kid walks through the front door. Who's brave enough to make their kids the ones who don't contribute and stand up to this nonsense? SO, I send my boys to school with oreo cookies or some other nut-free product that does't need to be chilled and we're done. ...but I have to pack a snack for my 6 and 8 year old kids AND also one for their adult teacher? I don't get it. Surely there's better ways to show appreciation. [/quote]
