PTAs  are run by SAHMs with nothing to do all day. They pretend this is a "job." 99% of what they do is busy work they create for themselves and the teachers neither ask for it or want/expect it. Almost none of the teachers in this school will visit this snack bar because we are there to work those days which is what we are doing. We don't want snacks, we aren't juveniles. If you don't like this proposition, and I don't blame you, tell the PTA. The teachers have nothing to do with it and don't care at all about it. [/quote]

I'm all pro teacher all the time, but this post makes me so angry. You do NOT need to slam SAHms to make your point. I am a working mom, but a couple of my SAH best friends are all PTA involved  for only the best of reasons.

I'm sure as a teacher you hate it when people come on here mocking and denigrating teachers. Why on Earth would you do that to another group of people who areonly trying to help you and make a small difference?[/quote]
