Meghan was a D lister who wasn't also a coke head or some other troubled Hollywood girl. All she had to do was make sure she wasn't a total mess and be careful in not marrying a Donald Trump. Due to her looks she already had her pick of successful men. All she had to do was pick the nice one.[/quote]

She was good looking, well spoken, not troubled Hollywood girl and was not an East European escort or porn star.  Being involved in UN charities (UNICEF? UNESCO?), she had the right pedigree and optics as a person who cares.  She was moderately famous and she is very well spoken and very well dressed.  She always behaved like someone who a high status person can marry and not be embarrassed. It was not as if she was shooting nude lesbian pictures in GQ to make ends meet and thus had trade the use of her young body for a rich old man.  [/quote]
