I can't comment about RM, but if the IB program is still similar these days, I agree with the above. I could have gotten better grades without IB, and I doubt IB got me into a better college than I could have done without IB (I went to JHU). But I loved the critical thinking and the breadth of the program. I developed better study habits than I would have gained otherwise, and I did not find college very difficult. IB is a good fit for someone who loves to learn and wants to be challenged, but not a good fit for someone who just wants an easy way into a good college. [/quote]
