For the Keto people, how much and what kind of fats are you taking in? Specifically, how are your cholesterol levels?
My macros have me at 55g fat/ 100-130g protein/ <20g net carbs. Fattier cuts of turkey (93%), sometimes chicken thighs (but mostly breasts), small amounts of olive or coconut oil, small amounts of cheese / olives / nuts. I'm the PP above that recommends high protein and against anything silly like fat bombs. It's the lack of carbs that gets you into ketosis, not eating fat. I mostly use keto just to lose weight. Once it comes time to build, I add complex carbs like potatoes, oatmeal, etc.
Also, I don't stress too much if my net carbs end up being on the higher side, even 40g net carbs, if those carbs are coming from things like broccoli, cauliflower, or zucchini, although I do limit higher sugar vegetables like beets and carrots. Nor do I worry about whether I'm "in ketosis." I track my calories and end up eating around 1100-1200 calories depending on if I'm training, which puts me at a deficit whether I'm technically in ketosis or not. Basically eating higher protein and fats keeps me full and satiated while dieting.
