That's what sex offenders are hoping you will say.  MCPS lets these offenders keep their MCPS id badges.  MCPS lets them stay employed in the school system so you never know where they will turn up.  They also get to use their MCPS id status to get other part-time jobs working with children in camps, sports, after school activities. Remember the "Rockville High rape case"?  In that case the video contradicted the victim's account, but that wasn't available immediately even though it existed.  Investigations take time, and there's nothing wrong with putting someone on leave while conducting an official investigation.  If the video supports the allegations I'm sure he'll be fired, but I seriously doubt that the people responsible for making the hiring decision have been able to see the video at this point.  And there are all different kinds of leave, some without pay.  No one on this Board has the specifics, other than he is on leave and not driving students at this time.  [/quote]
