Oh, FFS. Is this the first time you've heard someone write about depression and suicidal thoughts? Writing about their experiences is, you know, what writers do. Should all depressed people keep their thoughts private? Heaven forbid we actually talk about mental health.[/quote]

Writers write about depression and suicidal thoughts.  Mommy bloggers write ethically ambiguous online diaries that are rarely sensitive to their children's privacy.  When the two intersect, it's doubly wrong.[/quote]
