A lack of HGH can lead to a number of other issues. But sometimes it *is* to achieve a taller height in addition to treating the other issues. 5'6" you can live well in the world. But some kids who have HGH deficiency are projected to be much shorter than that and it poses problems in the real world. Not insurmountable, but it can make life more difficult. [/quote]
