This is a big step for them. There are books for EC teachers about transition to Kindergarten, for goodness sake, despite the claims of parents here that it's "stupid" or no big deal, and that their kid doesn't even have to be there that day. So plop your kid in daycare every other day, but don't come for this special day because YOU think it's dumb? Great attitude.[/quote]
