Sorry, don't know how to put the quoted text in blue. This is PP responding to PP who explained the perceived breaks and perks afforded to some favored students. Thanks for explaining! And, I think I can relate a bit. I have felt rankled hearing my DC comment on what felt like unfair treatment.  I even got myself involved on one occasion and ended up feeling a little misguided in my wrath. The examples you provide (acing written foreign language tests but not being able to converse, taking a test and months later retaking the same or similar test and doing much better) happen. I cannot speak to your experiences and I do not discount them. I hope your child is being fairly treated! In hindsight my own experiences of being angry on my child's behalf were not always fully warranted. Either way, I am happy that we are parents who would seek to advocate for our kids and their classmates. I hope you find the school responsive if you decide there are issues which need to be addressed to make the school better. [/quote]
