[/quote] Not really 15 minutes from downtown, but easy/cheap access to downtown and campus is in the city. Research ops have been amazing for my kid. Very challenging academics, so he’s gotta want that. Campus is beautiful — ice skating rink, student-run daily film series, arts center, theater company, museums, hospital all right there. Excellent bookstores, bakeries/cafes on or adjacent to campus, nice lakefront park within easy walking distance. What kind of STEM? (Only type of engineering they offer is molecular). But very strong math, CS, bio, chem, physics.[/quote]
