So what about HOV?? I am in it during rush hour (with required occupants) and f@ckers don’t move out of my way. The regular lanes are bumper to bumper and hov os moving with nobody in front of the car in front of me but they are exactly at the speed limit. Is HOV (far left) considered left lane under this? Please tell me “yes”.
No, it is not considered left lane. HOV cars do not have to move over so you can go 75 MPH.
When I’m paying $18 to go one way on HOV/hot lanes at 65moh you are not the regulator if I choose to go an extra 10mph over the speed limit.
Where did I say I was regulating what speed you could go? Your post indicated far left lane in HOV, I assumed you were talking about 66 E/W during rush hour. In the 95 express lanes, you definitely need to move over to the right to let cars pass, as there are 2 lanes in these Express Lanes. Trust me, I stay out of the left lane. There was a 6 car pile up in the left lane of 66 East tonight near Nutley. Guess no one wanted to move over....sucks for all those other people wanting to get home from work.
